Peter M. Fry

Managing Director

Peter Fry joined Burrill & Company in October, 2010 as Managing Director and Head of Alternative Equities to build out the firm’s principal investment directly into public Life Sciences companies. Mr. Fry has been providing investment, investment banking and advisory services to emerging growth companies for more than 18 years and has specific expertise in the placement of private/public equity, debt and convertible securities as well as committed equity lines of credit. Prior to joining Burrill & Company, Mr. Fry spent 7 years as the Senior Investment Officer of Kingsbridge Capital where he played an integral role in numerous Healthcare investments (PIPEs, Registered Directs, Follow-Ons) while executing almost $2 billion in more than 35 Committed Equity Financing Facilities (CEFFs).
Prior to joining Kingsbridge, Mr. Fry spent 11 years in investment banking. He was a Director of Investment Banking and Head of Private Placements for Investec Inc., a global, full-service financial services firm and had held similar senior banking positions while directing the private placement efforts at RBC/Tucker Anthony Sutro and Gruntal & Co. Mr. Fry has worked in both corporate finance and institutional sales capacities for most of his career and has also spent time on the buy-side with FBS Management, a dollar-neutral investment fund, and First Capital Strategists, Inc., an independent securities lender and overlay manager. Mr. Fry is a graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
